Ask About ThisWhy Residents Feel at Home Here
Small details, maintained consistently — that is what makes an ordinary day a good one.
Unhurried Daily Rhythm
No rigid schedules. Meals, activities and rest fit around each resident's own pace, not a timetable set for convenience.
Familiar Faces Every Day
The same small team looks after residents week to week, building the kind of quiet trust that makes asking for help feel natural.
Connected to Hong Kong
Regular outings keep residents part of the city — from Tai Po market to Victoria Harbour — so life here never feels cut off from the places they love.
Discreet, Respectful Support
Assistance is offered quietly, without fuss. Residents retain their independence and dignity — help is there when it is wanted, invisible when it is not.
Nourishing Communal Dining
Shared mealtimes prepared with care, with Cantonese home-style dishes alongside lighter options, taken together in a relaxed dining room.
Flexible Arrangements
Residents choose the level of support that feels right today, and can adjust it later as circumstances or preferences shift — no long contracts required.
Would you like to come and see Wan Hei for yourself?
Families and prospective residents are always welcome to visit, sit in the courtyard and take their time. There is no pressure — only a cup of tea and honest answers to your questions.
Questions Families Often Ask
We understand there is a great deal to consider. Here are the questions we hear most often.
What makes Wan Hei different from a care home?
Wan Hei is a lifestyle residence, not a medical facility. There are no clinical routines or institutional schedules. We focus on comfortable, supported daily living — the kind of environment where a person can feel genuinely at home, rather than cared for in a formal sense.
Can a family member visit at any time?
Family visits are warmly welcomed throughout the week, during daytime and early evening hours. We simply ask for a brief call ahead so we can prepare and make sure your relative is expecting you. There is always a comfortable spot to sit together.
How do I know which arrangement suits my family member?
We always suggest starting with a conversation and a visit. Once we understand your relative's day-to-day preferences and what matters most to them, we can suggest the arrangement that fits best. Many residents begin with one level of support and adjust over time — there is no fixed path.
What are the fees, and what is included?
Monthly fees begin at HK$1,150 for Daily Living Support, HK$2,380 for Excursions and Day Outings, and HK$3,840 for our all-inclusive Complete Residence Living arrangement. Each plan is clearly described with no hidden additions. We are happy to walk through the details during an initial call or visit.
Is Wan Hei accessible for residents with limited mobility?
The residence is thoughtfully arranged for ease of movement — level corridors, comfortable seating throughout and transport for outings that accommodates those who need extra time or assistance. Please mention any specific requirements when you enquire and we will confirm the details.
How long is the minimum commitment?
We operate on a monthly basis. We find this works well — it removes the pressure of a long commitment while residents settle in, and it keeps arrangements flexible as needs change. Full terms are shared during the enquiry process.
